Winter Park Dermatology’s Board Certified Dermatologist, Dr. Tabas, enjoys learning about you and prefers a collaborative rapport rather than a stereotypical doctor-patient relationship. Professional Experience You Can Trust
Dr. Maxine Tabas, M.D.
Dr. Maxine Tabas is a licensed physician and surgeon in the state of Florida. She is Board Certified in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Tabas is on site full-time, as the Medical Director of Winter Park Dermatology performing Mohs Micrographical Surgery, cosmetic dermatological procedures and overseeing all treatments and procedures performed by selected staff members. She is dedicated to caring for patients and she has a special interest in skin cancer treatment and prevention. She has shared her knowledge and expertise with other physicians through various presentations regarding diseases of the skin and skin cancers. She is available for consultation and questions when you need it and she is devoted to skin wellness, excellent patient care, and does everything possible to help you exceed your expectations.
Dr. Tabas received her undergraduate and medical degrees from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. She went on to take her internship, residency and fellowship at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis and joined the faculty gaining expertise in dermatologic and Mohs Surgery. Prior to opening her own practice in Central Florida in 1991, she accepted a Director’s position in Dermatologic and Laser surgery at Stanford Medical Center in Palo Alto, California. Dr. Tabas is a Board Certified Dermatologist serving patients for over 20 years.
