Maxine C. Tabas, MD, grew up in Philadelphia, PA. She received her undergraduate and medical degrees from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. She went on to take her internship, residency, and fellowship there as well. After fellowship, she joined the faculty at Washington University before accepting a position at Stanford in Palo Alto, CA. She moved to Central Florida and opened her private practice in 1991.
